Dr. Harlan Bruner is a board-certified, fellowship-trained neurosurgeon at Advanced Neurosurgery Associates.
He brings over a decade of experience servicing patients in Northeast Georgia and the Atlanta region to the practice.
He is interested in broad neurosurgical issues, including a wide variety of brain and spine conditions. While fellowship trained in complex spinal surgery, he has extensive experience in the surgical treatment of diseases of the brain and peripheral nerves. He also has extensive experience in non-surgical care of spine and brain conditions, including radiation therapy for neurological tumors.
He received his medical degree from Columbia University School of Physicians and Surgeons. He then completed an internship in general surgery and a residency in neurosurgery at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. He completed fellowship training in complex spine surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Bruner has published many peer-reviewed articles and is a Clinical Associate Professor at the AU/UGA medical partnership.
