If the tumor is shown to be malignant, our approach is generally aggressive surgical resection, or removal of the tumor. Depending on the location of the tumor, there are times that biopsy, radiation and chemotherapy are appropriate for some malignant tumors. Some brain tumors which occur commonly, like meningiomas, are benign. Our neurosurgical specialists are able to carefully plan and execute surgery for the complete removal of the tumor.
